Born out of a lack of media representation and a need to amplify the diverse voices of the Muslim community, The Black Muslim Times UK was created to provide a quality image of Black British Muslims.

Founded in 2016 by Halimat Shode, the quarterly online publication celebrates the Black Muslim business professionals, sportsmen, sportswomen, artists and so much more of the British Muslim community.

Primarily presented in an interview format, we hope readers are introduced to someone new, learn more about a familiar face, gain insight into their world and enjoy the conversation!
